What is the Parade of Homes?

How much does it cost to tour?
Tickets are $10 with a portion of the ticket proceeds to benefit the HBRA Charitable Foundation. Visitors to the homes should get their ticket scanned at each home. Each time the ticket is scanned is another entry for door prizes.
Why is the Parade of Homes so popular?
If you are looking to make a move and purchase a home or simply interested in seeing the latest home designs, neighborhoods, or colors and accessories for your current home the Parade of Homes is a great resource. With more than twenty new and remodeled homes across central Connecticut, visitors can choose to visit them by location, price range and style. The Parade of Homes truly does showcase the entire range of what new and remodeled homes have to offer. Homes are all open from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday October 14th and 15th.

Who builds the homes featured on the Parade of Homes?
Every Parade Home is constructed by a builder member of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Central Connecticut. Members have access to resources and education that helps them stay on top of their game. They share best practices, learn about new products, services and techniques, and connect with trade partners, helping to assure homebuyers have the highest quality builder and remodeler.
Where can I find out more about the Builders?
All of the builders with homes on the tour are easily searched online at POHCT.com and in the mobile app. The builders will be available on site during the weekend. It is the perfect opportunity to meet the builder or remodeler and make sure they are the one you connect with and who can bring your vision to life.

Many of the people who tour Parade Homes aren’t ready to make a change yet, but that’s OK. Besides providing a great shopping experience for those who are planning a move, the Parade of Homes is designed to help showcase the benefits and value of new and remodeled homes.
